Last updated: 5 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SecretHall (we, us, our) collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data when you use our website at https://secrethall.cz (the Platform). We are committed to processing your data lawfully, fairly and transparently in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Czech law.

1. Data Controller

SecretHall is the data controller responsible for the personal data processed through the Platform. For any privacy-related request you can contact us at info@secrethall.cz.

2. Personal Data We Process

We process: account data you provide when registering (such as your email address and an encrypted password); the content of any message you send us through the contact form; your Alerts and Radar preferences (the salons, providers or availability conditions you choose to be notified about); and technical and usage data (device type, browser, IP address and interactions with the Platform) collected for security, troubleshooting and anonymous analytics.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

We rely on Article 6 GDPR: the performance of a contract, to provide your account, favorites and Alerts; your consent, for non-essential analytics and functional cookies; and our legitimate interests, to keep the Platform secure, prevent abuse and improve our services.

4. Alerts and Notifications

When you create a Radar or an alert, we store only the criteria you set and your notification preference, and we use this data solely to deliver the notifications you requested. You can review, edit or delete your Alerts at any time from your dashboard; deleting an Alert stops any further processing carried out for that purpose.

5. Cookies and Consent

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the Platform and, only after you give consent through our cookie banner, analytics and functional cookies. You may grant or withdraw your consent at any time; withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

6. Data Security

We take the protection of your data seriously. Passwords and sensitive information are stored using strong, non-reversible encryption, and we apply industry-standard technical and organizational measures to guard against unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure.

7. Sharing and Third-Party Processors

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with carefully selected processors that help us operate the Platform (for example hosting, email delivery and analytics providers), who act on our instructions under data-processing agreements and only to the extent necessary.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. Account data is deleted upon your request, subject to any legal retention obligations.

9. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and the right to data portability. You may also withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact info@secrethall.cz.

10. International Transfers

Where personal data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we ensure an adequate level of protection through appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Minors

The Platform is intended strictly for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data relating to minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, please contact us so we can remove it.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be published on this page together with a revised effective date, and we encourage you to review it periodically.
